Creating an Email Account in DirectAdmin

You can create new mailbox accounts (example: info@yourdomain.com) inside DirectAdmin. You can log in to DirectAdmin from the client portal using the "Login to Control Panel" button (DirectAdmin Extended).

Steps

  1. Log in to DirectAdmin.
  2. Go to Email Accounts.
  3. Click "Create Account".
  4. Enter the mailbox name, set a password, and choose a quota.
  5. Click "Create" to finish.

Accessing the mailbox

  • Use Webmail from the Email Accounts screen, or configure an email app with the mailbox credentials.
  • Keep the password in a secure place and share it only with the user who needs access.
